What to Expect

Office room with beige chairs, a chaise lounge, a desk with a black office chair, and large windows showing green trees outside.

The first meetings are devoted to understanding your concerns, your history, and what has brought you to therapy at this point in your life.

There is no expectation that you arrive knowing exactly what is wrong or what you wish to accomplish. Many important questions only become clear through the therapeutic process itself.

My approach involves careful inquiry into your experiences, thoughts, emotions, and relationships. I offer interpretations to help illuminate recurring patterns and unconscious conflicts, and we explore how these emerge both in your life and within the therapeutic relationship itself.

Sessions are 50 minutes in length and are typically held between 1-3 times weekly, although this varies depending on your needs and goals. Sessions are available in person and via secure telehealth where appropriate.
